All Horizon learners will start their day inside today due to the off and on rain showers in the area. When you see the little green guy outside we will be inside in the am.

These 5th graders are excited about being the oldest in the school and taking on extra responsibilities. They meet the JK bus each day and walk the learners to the playground each morning. We did 3 #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay calls! @pringarrett #BetterTogether



Learners were asked to create artwork based on an “Oops." This Firstie used his Studio Habits of Mind Envision & Stretch & Explore to create his artwork! He persisted, used his imagination, & best of all was PROUD of his artwork! We shared the #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay w/ his uncle.

This learner saw a friend struggling with zipping his jacket and jumped right in to help him! He was persistent even though it was a tricky zipper! Ms. Hansen nominated him for the #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay @pringarrett



When the fire alarm rang this learner took care of her needs, quietly walked outside, and was a role model for her class. We surprised mom with the #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay ! @pringarrett


This learner started her day helping to move a backpack out of the middle of the hallway and reminding a classmate to put it in the locker. Mom enjoyed sharing in the #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay. @pringarrett
