These learners were nominated for the November Tigers on Track (ToT's) for taking responisible risks in their learning. Each month a Habit of Mind is a focus as students learn and practice soft skills which are critical for success in various situations. Students received their awards at the All School Assembly on Monday. @pringarrett

Miss B Hansen nominated this learner for #TheGoodNewsCallOfTheDay for going above and beyond to do a caring deed outside of the school day. Yesterday at recess, a learner dropped their glove into the drain. He came back after school with a net to get it out. He gave it back to the learner this morning & even had his mom wash it for him! #KindenessMatters @pringarrett

Four Sioux Falls Stampede players stopped @Horizon to read to & engage in activities with Kindergarteners & 1st graders. Each student also received a Chick fil A Kids Meal voucher. Lots of smiles and excited kids were seen in the classrooms. THANK YOU for visiting! @pringarrett

Horizon welcomed over 30 guests for our Veterans Day celebration. Student Council worked hard to get everything set up and all students helped with decorations. The 5Th grade classes each sang a song from their upcoming vocal music program. Thank you for your service Veterans!
