Mrs. Halvorson nominated two of her former learners for coming back to read to her current first graders. She was so impressed with their confidence, maturity, and growth! #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay

I LOVE hearing stories of our young people who SEE, INCLUDE & VALUE others. Mrs. Taylor saw these two do just that with another learner with no adult nudging needed! #ChooseKind #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay

Sometimes when a learner does things over & over again he gets referred to the principal. This young man was referred to me because he consistently includes others, makes them feel welcome & is incredibly kind! Mrs. C has seen it & referred him for a #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay

In the past, this young man would say he didn't love to write. But not today. Today he and his dad have written Book 50 of the Dragon Rider series! Mrs. Fagerland was amazed seeing his excitement & passion so why wouldn't he be our #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay?

On Friday, I had a good pleasure of sharing the responsibility of leading Liberty with our Principal for the Day, Mr. C! This young man was bestowed with this honor for his exceptional kindness, hard work & consistently doing the right thing. I appreciated his help on a busy day!

Mrs. Ruden was SO IMPRESSED how this young man stepped up to teach a valuable lesson to a classmate. The reason we help out and lend a hand is because it's the right thing to do, not because we might get something for doing it. Some #TruthComingFrom1Grade! #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay
