To clarify the previous post: • ᴊᴜɴɪᴏʀ ᴋɪɴᴅᴇʀɢᴀʀᴛᴇɴ - 12th grade students enrolled at Harrisburg are allowed to pick up a meal.

The Harrisburg Child Nutrition Department is happy to provide FREE meals to our students during this time of uncertainty. Grab and Go breakfast and lunches are available at Freedom, Explorer and Horizon: • Monday – 3/16         11:00 AM to 12:30 PM • Tuesday – 3/17        11:00 AM to 12:30 PM • Wednesday – 3/18   11:00 AM to 12:30 PM As we are using Federal funds to provide these meals there are rules that we must abide by. • Only K-12 students enrolled at Harrisburg are allowed to pick up a meal. • Students can go to any of the three locations to pick up meal.  They do not need to attend that location to get a meal. • The student must be present to pick up a meal. • Each student is allowed to pick up one (1) lunch meal for that day and one (1) breakfast meal for the following day. • You must take a milk with each meal. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time of uncertainty.

Harrisburg Families: We will be closed Monday through Friday next week (March 16-20). We would ask that you limit outings with your children that require close contact and practice social distancing. We will keep you informed as the situation develops. 🐾

These young ladies were “caught” helping another learner who had spilled his water in the hallway. Mrs. Halvorson was amazed at how they sprung to action to clean up the mess & help someone who needed a hand! #GoodNewsCalloftheDay

Mrs. Crevier specifically pointed out the social action project these young ladies tackled this year. They collected school supplies & financial assistance for a school in Liberia. It was awesome talking to them & seeing their heart for helping others! #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay

This young man had an opportunity to show kindness and empathy with a friend at lunch who was sitting by himself & he did it without missing a beat! It caught @mrscrevier attention so I thought I’d connect with dad for today’s #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay

Bravo! 👏 The Harrisburg Band Booster Showcase packed the house on Tuesday evening at the Pavilion. Over 600 HSD band students from grade 5-12 performed with over 1400 audience members in attendance. #TigerLoud!🐾🎶🎵

These young ladies coordinated with their class to write a thank you note to a classmate who brought in a special treat and taught them about rare genes. Mrs. Johnson was blown away by their act of gratitude and kindness! #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay (btw - it’s Wacky Wednesday😉)
